The Greek army has received a maintenance evacuation "Leopard"

Land forces of Greece adopted a 12 armored repair and recovery vehicle (BREM) Buffel, built on the basis of Leopard 2 tank chassis. It is reported Defencetalk referring to the press service of the manufacturer Rheinmetall Defence.

In accordance with the July 2004 contract, 70 per cent of units and assemblies BREM Buffel, including housing, caterpillars, Repair and recovery equipment, electrical and hydraulic systems were made by Greek companies. Recall also that in 2003 Greece has ordered 170 tanks in the German Leopard 2A6 HEL, 8 armored bridge Leguan, as well as tank simulators and simulations of combat situations Center. As expected, all equipment will be delivered before the end of 2009.
